Mini Review
of Honor 600s
Overview: The Honor 600s price in Bangladesh puts it next to some very capable mid-rangers, and Honor has built it around two things: toughness and battery life. With an 8100mAh battery, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings and drop resistance up to 2.5 meters, it's one of the most rugged everyday phones you can buy right now. The rest of the spec sheet is far more modest, though. Let's see if the trade-off works.
The 6.87-inch TFT LCD runs at 120Hz, so scrolling feels smooth, and 1020 nits in high brightness mode keeps it readable outdoors. Honor's eye protection and dynamic dimming help during long reading sessions. The big disappointment is the 720p resolution. At this size and at this tier, text and videos look visibly soft, and many rivals offer sharper AMOLED panels for similar money.
On the back there's a 50MP f/1.8 main camera with autofocus and a small auxiliary lens. Daylight photos look fine for social media, and Night, Pro and High-Res modes give you a little more control. Low-light detail is limited, there's no ultrawide, and video stops at 1080p. The 5MP selfie camera is weak for a phone in this segment.
The Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 is a 4nm chip that handles daily apps, social media and streaming smoothly, with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage in the Bangladesh variant. It runs casual games well, but heavy titles need lower settings. There's no microSD slot, though 256GB is plenty for most people. It also gives you 5G support.
The 8100mAh battery is the real highlight. Most people will comfortably get two days of use, and heavy users still finish a long day with plenty left. 45W HONOR SuperCharge refills it at a reasonable pace, and 7.5W reverse charging can top up earbuds or another phone in a pinch.
Durability is where the 600s stands apart. It's rated IP68, IP69 and IP69K, so it can handle rain, dust and even high-pressure hot water jets, and Honor says it survives drops of up to 2.5 meters. You also get stereo speakers, aptX HD Bluetooth, dual-band Wi-Fi and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It runs MagicOS 10 on Android 16. It's fairly heavy at 216.5 grams.
At this tier, the compromises are significant: a 720p LCD instead of AMOLED, a basic camera without OIS or an ultrawide, a weak selfie camera, no 4K video, no headphone jack and a plastic frame.
Pros
- Massive 8100mAh battery with 45W SuperCharge
- IP68, IP69 and IP69K with 2.5m drop resistance
- Smooth 120Hz display with 1020 nits HBM
- Stereo speakers and aptX HD Bluetooth
- 5G with Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 and 256GB storage
Cons
- Only 720p TFT LCD at this tier
- No OIS, no ultrawide and no 4K video
- Weak 5MP selfie camera
- Plastic frame, no Gorilla Glass
- Heavy at 216.5 grams
Conclusion: So, is the Honor 600s worth buying in Bangladesh? If you work outdoors, travel a lot or simply want a phone that shrugs off water, dust and drops while lasting two days on a charge, few phones match it. But if you care about display quality, cameras or performance for the money, rivals at this tier offer AMOLED screens, OIS cameras and faster chips. Buy the 600s for durability and battery life, not for its specs.
