Design and durability
The Y32 is 8.69mm thick and weighs 229g. That weight is the cost of the big battery, and you will notice it in a shirt pocket. It comes in Twilight Red and Sunset Orange.
The headline here is protection. IP68 covers dust and submersion. IP69 adds resistance to high-pressure, high-temperature water jets. Few phones at this price carry both, though the ratings come from lab tests and seals wear with age.
Display
The 6.87-inch IPS LCD runs at 120Hz, so scrolling feels smooth, and it reaches 1300 nits peak brightness for outdoor use. The weak point is resolution. At 720 x 1592 on a screen this size, small text looks soft next to a Full HD panel.
Performance and software
Inside is the Unisoc T7300, a 6nm chip with two Cortex-A78 cores at 2.2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores. It handles Facebook, YouTube and casual games well. Heavier 3D games will need lower settings. The phone ships with OriginOS 6 on Android 16.
Camera
The rear has a 50MP f/2.0 main camera with phase-detection autofocus and a 2MP depth sensor. The front has an 8MP selfie camera. Both record up to 1080p at 30fps. There is no ultrawide lens and no 4K video.
Battery and charging
This is the reason to buy the Y32. The 8000mAh silicon-carbon battery should last most people two days of normal use, and vivo claims six years of battery health. 44W FlashCharge refills it at a reasonable pace for a cell this large. There is no wireless charging.
