Realme is a well-known Chinese brand for affordable smartphone manufacturer. Realme is amazing and gaining popularity with their value for money devices repeatedly. Realme introduced the Note 50 last year as a budget powerhouse. This year they brought Realme Note 60 with even more competitive specs. We will break down the device specs and discuss with you if you are going to love the device or not.
Design and Build Quality
The device is built for power users with a lower budget range in mind. It provides an unmatched build quality with other devices in this segment. It has die-cast aluminum chassis inside, which ensures durability of the whole phone. The minimal notch and thin bezel made it attractive to look at. The front is glass and frame and the back panel is made of plastic.Realme Note 60 has an IP64 rating. As claimed it will withstand light splashes from any side and the internal will be dust free. You may not find an IP64 rating on other devices in this price range. It has a dual SIM with dedicated SD card slot housing. Side mounted fingerprint sensors are common nowadays at this price. It comes in two colors blue and black.
Display
Realme Note 60 offers a 6.74-inch large HD display. The 720 x 1600 pixels display is of HD resolution. The panel is an IPS LCD panel which is common and good enough according to price. Relame Note 60 supports 90Hz refresh rate for smoothness of the display. It’s nice they added a higher refresh rate display even at that much lower price point. The display goes up to 650 nits bright in High Brightness Mode. Which indicates users do not have to bother in direct sunlight.
Camera
Realme Note 60 has a good camera setup. In the setup, it has a dual camera on the back and a single camera on the front. It has a 32MP camera on the back as the main shooter with an auxiliary lens. On the front side it has a 5MP selfie camera. The back camera has a phase detection autofocus system. It can record video up to 1080p at 30 frames per second. Relame is providing a good camera setup at this price segment.
Hardware & Software
Realme Note 60 is powered by an octa-core processor Unisoc T612. The processor's highest clock speed is 1.8GHz and built-in 12nm fabrication. Processor is a drawback of the phone when the SOC is not that impressive at this price. A Mediatek G series processor is preferred for a device like Realme Note 60. But you can easily complete daily tasks with the phone without any problem. Realme introduced two variants of the phone, 4/64 GB and 4/128 GB. The RAM and storage combination is great for daily tasks and light gaming.All necessary connectivity features like wifi, bluetooth, GPS, radio, OTG are present on the phone. 5000mAh massive battery should be good enough to backup all day usage.
Realme using Realme UI 5.0 on Note 60 which is a custom skin on top of Android 14 the latest version of Android. Rather than choosing the Go version they are going with the full version of Android 14, which is uncommon enough in this range of price.
